I think it really depends on . . . I was going to say "success", but that's not quite it. It's not years, it's becoming part of the cultural fabric, either through an uplifting season or a goofy player or something else. The Red Sox had been around for half a century when 1967 happened. Until then, I don't think they were something all of New England was obsessed with. 1967, 1975 and 1986 have more to do with the Red Sox being part of the region than all of the years between.

Also, are you in repeats already?
Not even close. I just wrote it out and thought, this is pretty much a complete and coherent thought, of which I haven't had a ton lately. Plus, I think this is something I'd like to hear other opinions about.

Also, out of practice, getting slowly back into the habit of everyday, etc.
